You Better Go Now was written, recorded and mixed at Microwolf's home over a period of five years, using an acoustic guitar, a Casio keyboard, a banjitar, a snare drum, maracas, pots and pans, a Juno synthesizer and numerous other sounds and instruments, all processed through uninformed misuse of Logic Pro. The album was conceived during some rather intense years, in which, like the protagonist in Hangman, Microwolf was looking for people, places and things that would rescue him – eventually learning that he should have been looking for something else entirely. He likes to think all the songs in the album reflect on this theme one way or another.
A small sister album was also created during the making of You Better Go Now named You Are The Everything. That record as well as possible future microwolf endeavours can be found on microwolf.bandcamp.com
